Journey event to honor WWII holocaust survivor

The public is invited to "A Night of Living History," a birthday party for holocaust survivor Jack van der Geest of Rapid City, today at The Journey Museum.

Van der Geest, 85, described his experiences and escape from the German death camp Buchenwald in his book "Was God on Vacation?" He will be available greet the public at The Journey event. Doors open at 6 p.m., with a program at 7 p.m.
