Rick Abrahamson has joined the South Dakota State University Extension office in Pennington County as an Extension educator specializing in horticulture.
Abrahamson holds a master of science degree in soil science and a bachelor of science degree in horticulture from North Dakota State University.
Previously he was employed as director of education at Lauritzen Gardens in Omaha, Neb., and as an extension educator with the University of Minnesota Extension in Moorhead, Minn.
