If your Christmas tree is turning an unseasonable brown, there is still time to take it to a city of Rapid City yard waste drop-off site.
According to Public Works Department officials, the facilities will remain open until Jan. 25. City residents also can take their trees to the municipal landfill on S. Highway 79.
The city maintains three drop-off points: Anamosa Street and West Boulevard North, on Fairmont Boulevard and at Fitzgerald Stadium on Canyon Lake Drive.
