U.S. Highway 14A in Spearfish Canyon, from Cheyenne Crossing north a quarter- mile to the Yates Pond, will be closed to traffic Monday through Wednesday, June 16-18.
State highway crews will be installing two new pipe culverts, part of an ongoing project to reconstruct the highway to improve safety and drainage in the area. The roadway is being re-aligned slightly with added curb and gutter and a retaining wall with a concrete barrier built next to the pond.
