Continuing a holiday tradition, Slumberland Furniture of Rapid City will donate more than $7,200 in mattress sets, frames and linens to area families and youths, part of the company's Homes for the Holidays program.

The bed sets are being distributed through Youth and Family Services, Rapid City Club for Boys and local churches. Steve and Darla Jones, owners of the Rapid City Slumberland, will donate 20 sets, and an additional five sets are being donated with the support of local Slumberland employees.

"As a family-owned business, we're proud to support activities and organizations that strengthen families and provide assistance to youth and families in need. Recognizing that the youth of today are the future of tomorrow, we feel it important to give a good night's rest to Rapid City's prospective leaders," Darla Jones said.
