The Bureau of Reclamation has opened the newly rebuilt Suzie Peak Road from its junction at Fisherman's Road to its end on Gadens Point at Belle Fourche Reservoir.

Reconstruction of Suzie Peak Road began during fall 2007. Reservoir visitors listed the need for improvement to the road in the Reclamation's Resource Management Plan.

Improvements to Suzie Peak Road and the inlet canal roads allow Reclamation to provide better services to the public while preventing damage caused by off road traffic, said Fay Streier of the Bureau.
