An Aberdeen man died Tuesday from injuries suffered in a motorcycle accident Sunday near Wall.

Michael Walsh died Tuesday night at Rapid City Regional Hospital, according to Captain Kevin Karley of the South Dakota Highway Patrol.

Walsh was traveling west on Interstate 90 on his 2008 Harley-Davidson motorcycle about 1 p.m. Sunday when he failed to make a slight curve and entered the median, according to Karley. Walsh was wearing a helmet, and no other vehicles were involved in the accident. After he entered the median, he was thrown from the motorcycle.

"We're not sure why he left the road," Karley said.

The accident remains under investigation.
