Daily trash collections are adjusted this week to compensate for Friday, March 21, which is a holiday for the city of Rapid City.

For customers whose trash is normally collected on Monday, nothing changes.

Trash collections for the rest of the week are scheduled one day early: For example, if your normal collection day is Tuesday, set out your trash Monday, Wednesday's trash on Tuesday, Thursday's trash Wednesday and Friday's trash Thursday.

All trash-collection routes will be completed by Thursday afternoon.

City offices will be closed, but landfill hours remain the same, 7 a.m. to 4:45 p.m. on Friday and Saturday, March 21 and 22.
