The clinic will make its ninth annual appearance in Belle Fourche.
It treats youngsters through age 20 and provides restorative and preventive dental treatment for children who do not have a regular dental home, have not seen a dentist for two years or who have been treated previously by the clinic.
The clinic accepts Medicaid, dental insurance, Native American health insurance, as well as children with no insurance. No child is turned away for inability to pay.
Delta Dental and local dentists and technicians provide the professional services. The February clinic is being sponsored by the Pioneer Bank and the Clarkson Family Foundation of Belle Fourche, the Interstate Bank Greater Belle Fourche Foundation, Black Hills Power, and the Banner Corporation settlement fund administered by the city of Belle Fourche.
The Belle Fourche Episcopal Church has been site sponsor for all of the clinic visits. Parish members provide a facility, and arrange appointments and communications.
