Members from the Belle Fourche Volunteer Fire Department, Fire Fighters, Explorer Post Cadets, Auxiliary, and Marshall the fire dog, will be going to local Pre-schools, daycares, the Middle School, and South Park teaching children fire safety Oct 9th-12th. Children will be taught the danger of playing with fire. What to do if there is a fire in their home or the fire alarm goes off. The importance of having an escape map showing two ways out and a family meeting place. How to crawl out of a smoke filled building. What to do if they catch fire – stop, drop and roll. Fire Fighters will do a room search in full gear to show the students what we look like all dressed up so they are not afraid and hide from us in an emergency.

If you would like to have a presentation at your place of work, school or bring your group to the fire hall for a visit please contact us via phone: (605) 892-6237or email:
