Alpine Hickstein trimmed a stroke off of her previous season best for a round of 77 to place second at the Scottsbluff Invite last Tuesday. Hickstein was five strokes behind Scottsbluff’s Shelby Poynter and nine strokes ahead of third place finisher Ashley Maschmeier of Gering.
As a team the Lady Cardinals finished fourth in the division one team standings with a 425. Gering took the title with a 362. Twin City rival Scottsbluff was second with a 383.
Taurie Pourier shot the second best round of any Cardinal with a 112, while Aubree Noble was a stroke behind at 113. Katt Dodd carded a 123 and Moriah Hasting finished with a 124.
