The Crawford Rams hosted a triangular Monday night to wrap up the season for both the Rams and the Sioux County Warriors.

Both teams finished the triangular with one win and one loss. The Rams were defeated by Hemingford two sets to one, despite Crawford winning the first set. Sets were scored 26-24, 16-25, and 20-25. Their win came against Sioux County in two sets, 25-17 and then 27-25.

Earlier, on Friday, the Rams defeated Banner County in two sets, 25-24 and 25-16.

The team finishes their season with a 13-14 record and will compete at the D1-12 sub-districts Oct. 30 in Bayard.

For Sioux County their only win of the Crawford triangular was against Hemingford. They defeated the Bobcats in two sets, 25-21 and 25-20.

The team also had played Friday, defeating the Minatare Indians in three sets, 25-21, 25-12, and 25-14. They end the regular season with a 14-10 record and will play in the D2-11 sub-districts at the Chadron Middle School on Monday.

Hay Springs, who played the final game of its regular season Tuesday night, will also be joining Sioux County Monday at the D2-11 sub-districts. Statistics for Tuesday’s game against Garden County were not available by the time of publication.
