ELLSWORTH AIR FORCE BASE, S.D. | The Ellsworth Air Force Base Diversity Council is hosting multiple events on base to recognize National Hispanic Heritage Month from Sep. 15 to Oct. 15, 2017.
Airmen and families have the opportunity to participate in three different activities that highlight the heritage and culture of Hispanic and Latin Americans.
On Sept. 14, the Diversity Council will kick off the heritage month events by hosting a food tasting event at the Base Exchange food court from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m.
On Sept. 29, there will be a fiesta night that involves dancing, food and traditional Hispanic games at the Dakotas Club from 7 p.m. to midnight. Members are highly encouraged to RSVP with Tech. Sgt. On Oct. 11, there will be a learning corner at the Child Development Center at 9 a.m. where children can create fun crafts.
