HOT SPRINGS – The Hot Springs Elementary School PTA (Parent/ Teacher Association) is collecting Box Tops to help raise money for new play ground equipment, and they would like your help by asking family members, friends, and neighbors to save Box Tops for this great fund raiser.

Last year, with everyone’s help, the school collected $970 from box tops collections. Box Tops are collected all year long and submitted twice each year, once in the Fall and once in the Spring. Each Box Top is worth 10 cents, and they add up fast if lots of people get involved. The submission for this Fall was $385. If the PTA can get everyone’s help to clip and submit, they will be able to help purchase new play ground equipment for the school.

The elementary PTA has distributed gallon jars around town as collection sites for Box Tops. The following locations will accept Box Tops: Evan’s Plunge, The Mueller Center, City Hall, the Library, Lynn’s Dakotamart, Sonny’s Super Foods, Pine Hills, Shopko, and Prairie View United Methodist Church.

It is very important that each Box Top clipped has a clearly visible expiration date. If we are unable to read the expiration date, we cannot use the clip. Additionally, expired Box Tops will not be accepted.
