WINNER – The Hot Springs Bison Cheer Team performed this past week at a competition in Winner on Saturday, Sept. 9, and “had a good performance,” according to head coach Janet Naasz.
“Our week was a challenge due to illnesses but did have a full team to compete,” Coach Naasz said. “We had made changes that were suggested from the previous competition.”
There were a total of nine teams that competed, including some large teams (13 - 26 members) as well as some small teams like Hot Springs (6-12 members).
Hot Springs placed 7th overall against some of the top teams in the state, including six-time State Champion Dakota Valley.
This week, Hot Springs’ lone competition is in Spearfish on Monday, Sept. 10.
