Mario Livio, an internationally-known author and astrophysicist will speak at Black Hills State University on Thursday, April 25 at 7 p.m. in the Clare & Josef Meier Recital Hall.

Livio will speak about his most recent book "Brilliant Blunders" which looks at mistakes made by some of history's greatest scientists and why those mistakes have been an important part of science.

Born in Romania in 1945, Livio currently works as a senior astrophysicist at the Hubble Telescope Science Institute in Baltimore.
