RAPID CITY - The Sergeant Colton Levi Derr Foundation's Gallantly Forward Gala will be Saturday, Oct. 21.

The event is to help raise awareness about the issues facing veterans such as Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD), Traumatic Brain Injury (TBI), veteran suicide, homelessness and multiple deployments.

Veterans from the Black Hills area will be in attendance and your presence and community support will be met with much respect, said Foundation spokesman Jerry Derr.

The Gala will feature a social hour, dinner, guest speakers, a silent/live auction and live music by The Starfellows (Jordan Neeb & Cody Neeb). A business evening attire is recommended but not required.
