A 19-year-old man was arrested Friday night following a stabbing in downtown Rapid City.
Gary Primeaux, of Rapid City, is charged with aggravated assault in a knife stabbing in the 700 block of Kansas City Street around 8 p.m., according to Rapid City police. The victim, a 24-year-old man, was found with a laceration on his back and then taken to Rapid City Regional Hospital.
Primeaux, who had an outstanding warrant for failure to comply with a court sentence, was arrested in the 800 block of Clark Street. He is detained at the Pennington County Jail in lieu of a $15,000 cash or surety bond.
