Authorities are looking for a man who they say robbed the Phillips 66 gas station off Exit 14 in Spearfish early Wednesday morning. 

A man entered the store around 2:45 a.m. armed with a handgun and demanded money, according to a release from the Spearfish Police Department. The man took an unknown amount of cash, left the store and walked east, said Lt. Boyd Dean.

The suspect was described as approximately 5 feet 10 inches, dressed in a black hoodie, with a black mask, gloves, blue jeans and black shoes. Police said he appeared to be white.
