Police are looking for two suspects in a Thursday casino robbery in western Rapid City.

Around 6:50 p.m., police received a call about a robbery in progress at Jackpot Casino West on Jackson Boulevard, according to a Rapid City Police Department release.

Two males had entered the casino, and one pointed a shotgun at an employee behind the cash register and demanded money, investigators said. The employee complied, and the suspects left with an undisclosed amount of cash.

The use of a shotgun was not typical of robberies, said police spokesman Brendyn Medina, but it otherwise resembled other robbery incidents.
