Authorities are looking for the suspect who robbed a Rapid City casino at gunpoint Tuesday evening, the city police department said.

Police received a call about a robbery at Uncle Sam’s casino on West Main Street around 6:20 p.m., according to a release. A casino employee told investigators he was working when a man “entered the business, brandished a pistol and demanded money.” The employee reportedly complied, and the suspect left with an unspecified amount of cash.

The suspect was described as approximately 5 feet 8 inches tall, and in his 20s or 30s. He was wearing a blue hoodie, gloves, black shoes with white soles and his face was covered with a black material. The police department is asking anyone with information on the case to contact Detective Steve Neavill at 394-4134 or to send an anonymous tip by texting ‘RCPD’ and the information to 847411.
