Investigators found that Meyers was heading west on East North Street and tried to turn into the parking lot of AutoZone, an automotive parts store at 414 E. North St., when she hit a light pole around 6:45 p.m. The crash caused the vehicle to catch fire, said police, who saw the minivan “engulfed in flames.”

Police conducted a DUI test on Meyers after smelling alcohol on her. There were two other people in the minivan, and no one was injured in the incident, said police spokesman Brendyn Medina.
