Now that they are back to work, Black Hills National Forest officials are busy checking storm damage along roads and at recreational sites in the forest.

The record-setting October blizzard has likely cut a swath of destruction across the forest, leaving downed trees and washed out roads.

Closures due to unsafe conditions will be posted on the Black Hills National Forest website at http:www.fs.usda.gov/blackhills. Click on the Alerts and Notices tab.
