There are few relationships better than that between owner and pet. A soft purr or tail wag can melt away all of the troubles of a stressful day.
That's why the Rapid City Journal is excited to announce a new partnership with the Humane Society of the Black Hills in hopes of getting more pets adopted. Starting today, every Thursday we will feature one pet available for adoption at the Rapid City animal protection organization.
The feature will give readers who are thinking about adopting a pet an opportunity to see the animal and learn vital information about its habits, likes and dislikes.
The goal is to get more pets adopted and support an organization that is making a difference in our community. Information about the featured pets will also be available at rapidcityjournal.com.
