Obama statue turns heads in Rapid City

RAPID CITY - A 20-foot statue of President Barack Obama has been turning heads in downtown Rapid City.

Sculptor David Adickes has been working on the statue since the day Obama was elected president.

It's to go on display at Mount Rushmore beginning at 10 a.m. today

The grand unveiling for the Obama statue will be on July 4 at Presidents' Park near Lead, which Adickes owns.
