MADISON - Funeral services will be Saturday for a Madison woman who was thought to be South Dakota's oldest resident.
Neva Gist died Tuesday at 109. She was born April 26, 1899, at Maryville, Mo.
The South Dakota Health Care Association tracks the state's oldest resident through its Century Club, whose members are 99 years and older.
