Maj. Renel Hall-Beck, Sturgis, will be honored for her service to the nation at a National Guard Freedom Salute ceremony, to be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, April 5, in Building 450 at Camp Rapid.
She arrived home last week after serving more than six months in Southwest Asia.
Maj. Hall-Beck, a member of South Dakota National Guard's Joint Force Headquarters, volunteered to deploy with a logistics team on Sept. 4, 2007, with a primary mission of managing Soldier equipment distribution for U.S.Central Command.
