School of Mines selects homecoming royalty

King and queen candidates have been selected for the South Dakota School of Mines & Technology's M-Week homecoming celebrations.

The royalty, selected by students, will preside over the M-Week parade and the Homecoming football game Saturday, Sept. 19.

King candidates include: Marcus Baue, metallurgical engineering, Hysham, Mont.; Colter Burleson, mechanical engineering, Newcastle, Wyo.; Shane Grimme, mechanical engineering, Yankton; Cliff Kling, geological engineering, Belle Fourche; and Jason Miller, computer engineering, Goodland, Minn.

Queen candidates include: Karina Garber, interdisciplinary sciences, Rock Springs, Wyo.; Lisa Robinson, mechanical engineering, Gettysburg; Ashley Stewart, computer engineering, Scotland; Channing Thompson, chemistry, Rapid City; and Alison Wahl, mechanical engineering, La Porte, Ind.
