The South Dakota Supreme Court has upheld a former state wrestling champ's juvenile court convictions for attempted rape.

Jerome Hunt, who was on the Parker High School wrestling team, was fined $1,000 and placed on probation last year after a judge in juvenile court found him guilty of seven counts of attempted rape involving younger and smaller boys.

Six wrestlers accused Hunt of inserting his finger into their rectums before wrestling practice or on the team bus during the 2005-2006 season.

Hunt said he was messing around and doing a wrestling move.
