A Sturgis man has been sentenced to 18 years in the South Dakota State Penitentiary - with five years suspended- for his role in a robbery this spring.
The man, 20-year-old James Blanding, admits providing a vehicle that two men used in a Sturgis robbery. He will be eligible for parole in eight years.
The other two were sentenced in July for their parts in the crime.
Authorities say 20-year-old Judd Blakeman was wounded by a gunshot when two armed men burst into a mobile home May 3.
