PIERRE - South Dakota Democrats are preparing for their presidential delegate selection process.
Legislative district caucuses will be held Saturday as the first round in a two-tiered process to select delegates for the Democratic National Convention at Denver in August.
The district caucuses will send delegates to a statewide caucus in Pierre on March 22, when slates of 10 potential national convention delegates and three alternates will be chosen.
Their names will appear on the June 3 primary election ballot beneath the names of Hillary Clinton and Barack Obama.
The popular vote will decide the delegates and alternates to the national convention.
