The Lawrence County Sheriff's Office is requesting the
public's help in finding 59-year-old Paula Jeanne Hayes, who was
last seen leaving her home Thursday morning in Lead.
A nationwide welfare check was issued for Hayes after family
in Colorado and Wisconsin made attempts to contact her Wednesday
night but have not heard back since. Family members said this is
unlike her.
She was last seen in her black 2000 Ford Taurus with South
Dakota license plates 9DD285.
Hayes has a fair complexion, stands 5 feet 7 inches tall,
weighs167 pounds and has blond hair and blue eyes.
Authorities have ask that if you have any information about
Hayes's whereabouts or have seen her since Thursday, call the
Lawrence County Sheriff's Office at 578-2230.
