RAPID CITY - A motorcycle accident on Eglin Street near Menard's shortly after noon Saturday seriously injured one man.
Sgt. Cliff Peterson of the Rapid City Police Department said the man, whose name has not been released, was northbound on Elgin Street when he swerved to the right, hit the curb at the Menard's parking lot entrance and rolled the motorcycle.
No other vehicles or people were involved.
The man was taken to Rapid City Regional Hospital where he remains. His condition was unavailable.
Peterson said the man was not wearing a helmet.
