The medical condition of a boy paralyzed in an incident with another student last week has been upgraded from critical to serious.
Cody Yellow Thunder, 17, a Rapid City Central High School student, was injured Sept. 10 near the band shell in Memorial Park after another Central High School student threw him to the ground, breaking his neck.
Rapid City police say they know who the other student is, but no arrests have been made.
