Women acknowledge killing Eagle Butte man

Two women have acknowledged killing an Eagle Butte man.

Talia Eberhard, also known as Talia Big Eagle, 25, of Green Grass and Alison Wind, 20, of Fort Thompson pleaded guilty in federal court in Pierre to aiding and abetting voluntary manslaughter.

They were indicted on charges they stabbed to death Lloyd Jensen Jr. on Dec. 29 in Dewey County on Cheyenne River Indian Reservation, according to the indictment.

The maximum penalty is 10 years in prison.
