RAPID CITY - The next in a series of weather disturbances could bring another foot of snow to the Black Hills and the northern foothills by Sunday morning.

The Northern Hills already had up to 8 inches of snow on Friday.

A winter storm warning takes effect Saturday evening for areas that include Buffalo, Belle Fourche, Lead, Deadwood, Spearfish, Hill City, Custer, Sturgis and Mount Rushmore.

Two to 5 inches of snow was forecast Saturday night for the Lemmon, Bison, Faith and Rapid City areas, where a winter weather advisory will be in effect.
