Mass of Christian Burial for 21-year-old Kevin Morsching of Rapid City will be at 10 a.m. Friday, Aug. 31, at Cathedral of Our Lady of Perpetual Help, 520 Cathedral Drive, Rapid City.
Morsching died early Monday at Avera McKennan Hospital in Sioux Falls. He had been on medical life support and was comatose after incurring a brain injury from a skateboarding accident Monday, Aug. 20, in Brookings, where he would have been a pitcher on the South Dakota State University baseball team.
In lieu of flowers, a memorial scholarship has been established at St. Thomas More High School in memory of Morsching.
