PIERRE - A Powerball ticket sold in Rapid City is worth $200,000 after Saturday night's drawing, according to a spokeswoman from the South Dakota State Lottery.

The lucky ticket matched the five white balls but not the red Powerball number to win the game's second prize. It is the fifth time this year the prize has been won in South Dakota.

The winning Powerball numbers for the Saturday, July 4, drawing were:4, 9, 22, 41, 44; the Powerball was 14. The Power Play prize multiplier was 3.

Lottery director Norm Lingle said the ticket holder should sign the back of the ticket immediately, put it in a safe place, and call the Lottery office in Rapid City at 394-5106 or in Pierre at 773-5770, to make arrangements to validate the ticket and claim the prize. The winner has 180 days to claim it.

Powerball is played in 30 states, the District of Columbia, and the U.S. Virgin Islands. The odds of winning the $200,000 prize are 1:5,138,133. The odds of winning the jackpot are 1:195,249,054.
