RAPID CITY - The South Dakota Highway Patrol says a Wyoming man was killed when his pickup truck left U.S. Highway 85 and crashed about 10 miles north of Buffalo, S.D.
The victim was identified as 31-year-old John L. Munro of Gillette, Wyo.
The pickup hit a post, went into the ditch, rolled and came to rest in a field. Authorities say Munro was ejected and was dead at the scene.
The Highway Patrol says the time of the crash is not known and that it was discovered at 6 a.m. Saturday.
