HOVEN - Students in the Hoven district will have at least one more day at home to recover from influenza.
The district called off classes Monday because of an outbreak that sickened at least a third of the student body - 40 out of 126 students in grades kindergarten to 12.
Teachers planned to return Wednesday and classes are scheduled to resume Thursday, though some kids will likely still be sick.
Custodians have been busy disinfecting everything from door handles to locker rooms.
