PIERRE - Less than a week remains to see the decorated Christmas trees in the state Capitol.

The trees, which come from throughout South Dakota, are on display for only five more days. The display is open to the public from 8 a.m. to 10 p.m. daily through Wednesday, Dec. 26. Each group that decorated a tree will return to Pierre on Thursday, Dec. 27, to take their tree down.

Organizations or groups who have an interest in decorating a tree for next year or providing entertainment or weekend displays are encouraged to sign up at the Greeter Desk or call the Office of the Governor at 773-3212.
