If you did not get your free ticket to see Democratic presidential candidate Sen. Barack Obama today, your hope is to get on the waiting list. Then you have to wait for a ticket holder to not show up.

Obama campaign spokesman Matt Lehrich could not provide totals Friday night but said the Rapid City office gave away all the tickets it had for today's 10 a.m. event at the Pennington County Event Center at the Central States Fairgrounds on Centre Street. He said the program would see a capacity crowd.

For the optimistic wanting to attend, you must register for the waiting list at the Obama campaign office, at 1315 Haines Avenue.

Don't delay. The gates for the Obama event open at 8 a.m.
