Albert Munroe, Jr., 63 of Stoneville, was arrested Thursday morning on suspicion of attempted second degree murder and aggravated assault.

Meade County Sheriff's deputies believe Munroe shot at Glen Myers, 51, Stoneville, about 8:30 a.m. According to a news release, deputies surmised that Munroe allegedly struck Myers with an object and then shot a handgun at Myers. Meade County Chief Deputy Tom Wilts said the two men are neighbors north of Stoneville and were allegedly arguing over cattle and a fence.

Myers received minor injuries but did not require medical attention. Munroe is being held in the Meade County Jail in Sturgis. A bond hearing is scheduled for Friday.

The Meade County Sheriff's Office continues to investigate.
