So proponents of a new civic center tout the financial windfall that will result as justification to spend millions on something not really needed just to keep up with another locality? I propose that as Colorado has reaped revenue from recreational pot use and Nevada from legalized prostitution we must legalize both so we can keep up with them; both of those vices would generate more revenue per year than a new civic center.
