SPEARFISH | A public education session on South Dakota’s Long-Term Care Partnership Program will take place at noon Thursday at Grace Balloch Memorial Library.
The session will focus on an introduction to long-term care, the costs related to it, what Medicare and Medicaid will cover, and how the Long-Term Care Partnership Program can help. This public-private partnership is a program offering people quality, long-term care insurance and a way to receive needed care without depleting their assets. The Department of Social Services offers information and answers questions without endorsing any specific company or product.
