We have a culture addicted to consumption of stuff. The world cannot support our habit for too much longer. What is needed is a reevaluation of our values toward Mother Earth. As we go on overspending for stuff, our country is in danger of being foreclosed on by our debt holders. History teaches that most nations fail from within. We have too big of houses, too many autos, too much travel, closets full of clothing unused; we work too many hours and make too much money and share too little of what we do make with poorer peoples around the world. We have those who claim that the USA is a Christian nation; and, we have other religions which preach sharing and compassion; what a laugh!

We need a sustainable culture which should be taught in our schools and colleges and by our religious leaders. Our politicians at all levels of government keep ‘preaching' growth, growth, growth. We have too many people and we have groups still advocating big families. What's the answer? You!
