The fairy tales we live by seem much more fun than facts

and various perversions are now accepted acts.

The women marry women and man now beds with man;

if sodomy is just good fun, what else could judges ban?

The children and civilians we bomb in other lands,

should never have been living near our precious oil sands.

The gambling rackets feed the states while bankers rob us blind

with soaring, thieving interest rates and schemes of every kind.

The poor who have no health care don't see it as a joke,

and if they cannot find a job they just go on and croak.

We advertise new brothels out in the storied west,

with whores of either gender; this country's just the best!

And we'll all go to heaven, it's written in our creed;

if we just pay the preacher, it's surely guaranteed!
