An employee at the Pizza Hut on Mount Rushmore Road was issued a citation Thursday for selling alcohol to an underage police informant.

The informant was part of an alcohol compliance check by the Rapid City Police Department that checked 19 businesses. Only one failed the check.

Matthew Marzolff, 23, was the Pizza Hut employee cited for furnishing alcohol to a minor. This is a class 2 misdemeanor punishable by 30 days in jail, a $500 fine or both.
