Rapid City Area Schools Board of Education will hold its regular board meeting at 5:30 p.m. today at the City/School Administration Center, 300 Sixth St..

Superintendent Tim Mitchell will give reports on the Professional Learning Community program implementation, the legislative review and the Day of Excellence program.

The new bullying policy also will be read for the second of three required readings before going in to effect.

Recognitions will include Stevens High School students involved in the Crash Course Service project. The students created a series of public service announcements on texting and driving that appeared throughout South Dakota.
