RAPID CITY - Joseph
Pengitore of Corsica has created a Web site that indicates his
intention to become an independent candidate for the U.S. Senate
seat held by Democrat Tim Johnson.
The Web site says
Pengitore will run a campaign based on integrity - not good looks,
special interests, political connections or wealth - and that he'll
circulate ballot petitions in the Spring.
